Nix Picks: Garner, Kirstin Allis 
A beautifully written book based in a south central New Hampshire town. The author 
used the two histories of Temple, New Hampshire as templates. Temple, NH was the hometown of my best friend, and musical partner in my 20’s and 30’s Rick Fiske. This book is poetry in prose, and a lovely peek into southern New Hampshire though the lens of fiction.
